Portland Choir & Orchestra requires all new accounts to verify their email before completing e-commerce transactions on this website.  This is necessary to protect your data and prevent fraudulent activity.  After registering above, an email will be sent to you with two links, one to set a password, and another to verify your email.  You should complete them in the reverse order of presentation in the email and above:  first verify, then set a password.  You may need to check your spam folder for this email.

Full disclosure requires us to report this website was the target of an attack in July 2022 by bad actors engaged in activity attempting to exploit credit cards fraudulently obtained elsewhere.  This activity continues to this day, but email verification has been successful in preventing fraudulent credit card and other account abuse.  Your personal and financial data remains 100% secure and was never in danger of compromise at any time.   For further details, please visit this explanation and our privacy policy.

While email verification prevents unverified accounts from abusing website data and fradulent e-commerce, it does not stop the creation of fradulent accounts, which require manual intervention to remove.  As such this website recently added Anti-Spam by CleanTalk, which has reduced unverified accounts to virtually zero.  If you receive a notice that you have been blocked as potential spam during registration, you can send us an email at the address noted above with your phone number and we will contact you and work it out.
